Day and nighttime relief of heartburn, acid reflux and GERD (Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease) symptoms. Feel Gaviscon's foaming action start to work as soon as you take it. Forms a protective barrier that helps black acid reflux for hours. Aluminum, lactose and gluten free.
Medicinal ingredients: 250 mg sodium alginate (derived from brown seaweed), 100 mg aluminum hydroxide/teaspoon (5 ml).
Non-medicinal ingredients: (alpha) calcium carbonate, cetylpyridinium chloride, fruit flavor, silicon dioxide, sodium bicarbonate, sodium cyclamate, sodium methy hydroxybenzoate, sodium propyl hydroxybenzoate, water, xanthan gum.
Consult a doctor if symptoms persist beyond 2 weeks or recur. Except under your doctor's advice, if pregnant or on a low salt diet, do not exceed 2 teaspoons per day, do not take if you suffer from kidney disease or within 2 hours of another medicine because the effectiveness may be altered.
Keep out of reach of children. Do not freeze. Store between 150C and 250C.
Adult dosage: shake well. Take 2-4 teaspoons when symptoms occur, or take as directed by a doctor. Use daily up to a maximum 16 teaspoons/day (80ml).
