Cerumol Ear Wax Remover Drops is designed to loosen wax in the inner ear canal for removal.
Paradichlorobenzene 2%, chlorbutol 5%, oil of terebinth 10%, peanut oil 57%.
Cerumol® contains peanut oil. Patients allergic to peanuts, soya or any of the
ingredients in the product should not use Cerumol®.
Note: Cerumol should not be used by persons suffering from perforated ear drums, otitis externa, seborrheic dermatitis, or eczema affecting the external ear.
Adults and children 12 years and over:
After opening, discard cap and replace with dropper for the future use. Prepare a small cotton ball, the size of your thumb nail. Lie or sit down and tilt your head to the side. Use the dropper to put 5 drops into the ear canal. Plug the ear with the cotton ball moistened with Cerumol® but do not push it into ear canal to help keep the liquid in the ear canal. Remove the cotton ball after one hour or the next morning. Repeat 2 or 3 times a day for 3 days. Unless the ear wax is unusually hard, it should run out freely. If condition persists or gets worse, consult your physician.
